Andrés R. Nevares was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he completed his primary education and later attended Mercersburg Academy in Pennsylvania, Syracuse University, and the University of Denver School of Law. He is a member of the federal and local bar associations of Puerto Rico and Colorado. He has lectured on construction, construction litigation, estates, arbitration, surety bonds, and corporate governance.
Mr. Nevares has experience in commercial matters as well as litigation and arbitration. He has represented clients in mergers and acquisitions, real estate contracts, and in the construction of major commercial and infrastructure projects, including public-private partnership projects. He also has experience in litigation before local and federal courts.
Mr. Nevares is fully bilingual and bicultural (US and Latin America), and has clients from Puerto Rico, the continental US, Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
